I Made It

Well I've made it to Singapore.

It was a pretty good trip - nothing really exciting happened - so I guess that's good, except I don't have a good story to tell. Oh, wait a sec - one good story. I flew the direct flight from LA on Singapore Air - I highly recommend this flight for any looking to visit, better seats, more room, etc. but I digress. I had the middle seat in the middle section of seats and was thinking how nice it would be to have an aisle, when someone gets my attention - a young lady - and I recognised her, but couldn't place her face. Then I hear a guy's voice say my name and it was Steve Pearson traveling with his girlfriend back Singapore. Steve works for NORDAM Singapore one of the 3 other expats over here. So, they wanted to sit next to each other and i got an aisle seat. Sweet!

I'm at the Marriott again for a few days and I should move in to my apartment on Monday or Tuesday. I pretty much slept most of the day yesterday and caught up on some work emails. And it rained all day.

Today I'm getting ready to go over to my apartment and check out what's around there for shopping, restraurants, and all that good stuff - at least while it's not raining (monsoon season here).

I want to thank everyone that helped me out the past few weeks getting everything ready and I want to apologize to you that I wasn't able to call or see before I left - I will catch up with you soon don't worry!

Cheers
