Well I'm living in the future, relatively, compared to T-town. I'm in Singapore for a few weeks on business. I've been here for 1 week already and two to go. I spent most of the week in lots of meetings and doing interviews, then dinners out with my bosses (they were here last week, but went home on friday!!) ... so now I'm on my own. It's kind of a strange feeling - to be a minority, to be in a strange place by myself, and in a place of 4.5 million people but I hardly know any of them!
I'm going to find the beach tomorrow, I hope - I tried today too, but think I went to the wrong MRT stop, then I couldn't find the right bus.
We did get to go to a shipyard on thursday last week and see how they make deep-sea drilling rigs and semi-submersible rigs, one of their rigs is the world's largest of its kind and was on the show megastructure, engineers like this kind of stuff!!
